Rain Forces Postponement of Tonight's
Monsters in the Meadow
August 29, 2008 (No.
25) - Due to weather reports forecasting rain
this afternoon and high winds for this evening,
tonight's screening of The Creature from
the Black Lagoon in Stanley Park will
be postponed to Friday, September
5th. Please
note the movie screening time will also change
to 8pm, due to the earlier sunset.
The movie is part of Monsters in the Meadow, free outdoor movies shown near Second Beach in Stanley Park.
The public is strongly advised to visit the Park Board website or call the Monsters information line at
604-473-6205 for updates on Friday, September 5th.
