Stanley Park Seawall Will Reopen Saturday Morning, November 15th

November 14, 2008 (No. 36) - The Stanley Park Seawall will reopen Saturday morning, November 15th to pedestrians and cyclists after a mudslide closed the popular seaside walk for several days. However, there are two locations where cyclists will have to dismount for a short distance and walk their bikes on the pedestrian path: one is at Prospect Point and a second at Siwash Rock. Debris from the mudslide has left these two short sections of the cycle path closed. Staff will finish clearing the cycle path on Monday.
