Stanley Park roadwork begins March 1

February 26, 2010 (No. 6) - Road reconstruction and repaving in Stanley Park will begin March 1 and finish mid-May. Motorists can expect some delays in the following areas:

  • Park Drive, between Prospect Point and the Hollow Tree, weekdays from 6am to 5pm. Road reconstruction will result in one lane closed. Expect traffic delays of up to 20 minutes, with minimal disruptions between 11:30am-1pm.
  • Pipeline Road from Children’s Farmyard/Miniature Train parking area north to Park Drive. Complete closure including Pipeline Road cut-off road. Access to the Farmyard parking area, Stanley Park Pavilion and Stanley Park service yard will remain open.
