Memorial South Park lit synthetic turf field open house April 7

March 29, 2010 (No. 15) - The Vancouver Park Board will be holding an open house for the lit synthetic turf playfield at Memorial South Park on Wednesday, April 7 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Memorial South Field House (facing the running oval, parking at 43rd Avenue and Ross Street).

This will be an opportunity for the public to view detailed plans and ask questions prior to the Park Board's application for a development permit.

On February 8, 2010 the Park Board approved the installation of a lit synthetic turf playfield on the southwest field at Memorial South Park as well as an upgrade to the Memorial South running track.
