Park open houses: Mt Pleasant Park June 21; Vanier Park BMX bike facility June 23

June 14, 2010 (No. 27) - Mount Pleasant Park: Residents are invited to an open house on June 21 to share ideas for improvements to Mount Pleasant Park. In 2009, a concept design for Mount Pleasant was approved by the Vancouver Park Board, with the understanding that there would be consultation with the community on the program elements and the design features.

Vanier Park BMX bike facility: In September 2009, the Vancouver Park Board approved the construction of a BMX/mountain bike facility in Vanier Park, adjacent to the Burrard Civic Marina.

The public is invited to an open house on June 23 to learn more about this project and to make comments.
