This pilot project will explore the possibility of converting small portions of lightly used road into accessible mini-parks, as a cost-effective way of bringing green space to where it is needed most, and improving the quality of life for you and your neighbours.

Earth Day celebrations in Vancouver parks

Apr 22, 2014 – Celebrate Earth Day with activities in several parks across the city on April 22, 26, and 27. Activities include a park cleanup, invasive-plant removal, tree planting, geocaching, habitat restoration, an educational walk, and family entertainment.
