General manager of Real Estate and Facilities Management
Bill Aujla has held the position of general manager for the last four years. Recently, Bill was the lead on the successful negotiations with Canadian Pacific Railway for our purchase of the Arbutus Corridor.
Before taking on the general manager position, Bill served as the project manager and loan manager for the Southeast False Creek and Olympic Village development. In these roles, Bill oversaw the development occurring in anticipation of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, as well as development of the area after the games. This development includes Canada’s first residential multi-unit Net Zero Building, Habitat Island (a man-made island off the west shore of the Village), and the restoration of a heritage building (Salt Building).
Bill has worked as a solicitor in Legal Services, an articled student at BLG Law Firm, a financial analyst for Coast Mountain Bus Company in Surrey, and a civil engineer in Engineering Services.
