What Motivated You to Become Active?
At age 30, I realized things weren't going to stay the way they were unless I put in some effort – That's when I decided to learn to swim.

What Did You Do To Become More Active?
At first, I couldn't even swim a half length!

How Do You Motivate Yourself to Stay Fit?
I have a friend my age. She has severe, advanced MS. We use to do so much together. Now, whenever I think I can't swim another length, walk another block or do one more dance, I think of her and it moves me on.

What Are the Benefits of Being Fit?
Good health in mind and body keeps me feeling and looking younger (I hope!). While the swimming and walking helps keep me "fit" physically, the dancing contributes to my physical and mental well-being. Plus I get to experience the joy of the music!

What Are Your Future Fitness Goals?
To build strength and muscle definition through weight training.
