What Activities Keep You Fit and Active?
Physically, I used to play table
tennis and won several titles. Now, I play
some tennis and have also won a few tournaments.
Mentally, I try to keep up with the latest
findings in Sub-Atomic Particle Physics
and Astrophysics. I am part of these seminars
at UBC. Also, I'm involved with a few projects
at NASA's Ames Research Center and The Jet
Propulsion Lab. Due to past successes and
with new challenges emerging continuously,
I find it invigorating to meet them. If the
body is healthy and the mind is active and
inquisitive and one feels that one is contributing
to make our society a better one, then motivation
is inherent in the person. I'm constantly
preparing and improving lesson plans and
talks at universities around the world.
