July 3 - Espresso Martini
Espresso Martini is a jazz trio/quartet, playing traditional jazz, bossa novas, original modern jazz and blues, and swing tunes. The lead singer and piano player, Ambre Rippon, has been leading and arranging for the group since 2007. They play around Vancouver, in restaurants and lounges, at corporate and private parties, and special events. August 7 - Rainbow Concert Band
Vancouver's Rainbow Concert Band, was formed in 1990, shortly after Gay Games III, after seeing the spectacular Lesbian and Gay Band Association performance. Still the only one of its kind in Canada, they are a group dedicated to providing an outlet for LGBT people who are looking forsupportive environment to practice and perform music. They performPopular Show tunes to Marches to Latin to Classical to songs that you'll find yourself singing and dancing to. Check out their website for more information (www.rainbowband.ca .) August 14 - Bruce James Orchestra
We wanted to put together a true "Big Band", to play the music as it was written, with 5 saxes, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and 4 piece rhythm section. We cover music of the 40's (Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra to name a few) right through to pop arrangements for the Big Band (Respect, Knock On Wood) with vocal covers of Michael Buble, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, plus many more. The band is a high energy group that is as exciting to watch as they are to listen to. In case of rain, rescheduled to Saturday, August 20.

August 21 - Honeyboy & The Blue Revolution
Honeyboy & The Blue Revolution (Honeyboy on Facebook ) is a blues rock band that was born from the fertile grounds of Vancouver's mecca of blues, the Yale. This 4 piece band is... Honeyboy Wilson (guitar vocals), Simon Savage (drums) Jim Birmingham (bass) and Henry Lowe (saxophone and keyboards). In case of rain, rescheduled to Saturday, August 27.
