Join Charlotte for this all-levels class. Learn sculpture and handbuilding techniques in a positive and encouraging environment. Discover the joy of clay and the history of sculpture . Self-directed projects are emphasized with guidance from the instructor and may include portraits, the human figure, gargoyles and animals using, coil, slab and pinch methods. Please bring a journal to class. Clay can be purchased from the instructor during the first class. No class Feb. ,11, 18 & 25 Instructor: Charlotte is an award winning Art Education Specialist and Artist who teaches high school by day while running her own studio by night. She has earned degrees from both the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and Simon Fraser University. She has taught Pottery and Sculpture at the West End Community Centre for over 10 years. Her work has been exhibited in Canada, United States and Japan.
