2010 Community Events
Paralympic Torch Relay
Riley Park, Wednesday, March 10, 11am-1pm: The torch will be the guest of honour at a block party. The event includes a relay around the park and entertainment. Robson Square, 24-hour relay, Thursday, March 11, 2pm to Friday, March 12, 2pm: The torch will be carried around a circuit over a 24-hour period. Stage celebrations will take place throughout the event.
Community Happenings
The City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Park Board is hosting a number of community special events that
celebrate the 2010 Winter Games. There are many fun, free or low-cost and family-friendly activities for you to enjoy in your local neighbourhood. Community Living Rooms
The Paralympic Games kick off March 12 with opening ceremonies.

The 
Drop in and catch the action with your friends and neighbours at one of Vancouver's community centres and neighbourhood houses. Thirty locations now have state-of-the-art 50" plasma screen TVs that will be tuned to Olympic and Paralympic action throughout the Winter Games.
