Welcome 2010 Visitors!

On the eve of the 2010 Winter Games, we extend a warm West Coast welcome to all of our visitors! A proud partner in the Games, the Park Board has been busy building venues, engaging residents and working on many projects to both celebrate this shining moment in Canadian sport and leave a lasting legacy for our City. For over 120 years, our organization and its many community partners have been dedicated to creating and maintaining a parks and recreation system that is the envy of the world - one that makes Vancouver liveable and beautiful.

We are thrilled to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime event. The 2010 Winter Games reflect the vision and values that we carry out every day, as advocates for active and healthy living, champions of sustainability, supporters of arts and culture - it is what we do! As part of the Host City team, our Park Board staff are committed to helping make the Games a spectacular success. We hope your Olympic experience will be a wonderful one and that you will enjoy Vancouver's world famous parks, beaches and recreation opportunities. Welcome! Bienvenue!
