Commemorative Gifts

Vancouver’s parks have benefited greatly from the generosity of residents and visitors who have chosen to make commemorative gifts.

Dedicate a park amenity

Dedicating a park bench, picnic table or bicycle rack in honour of a loved one or a special occasion helps enhance parks and provides funding for the ongoing preservation of parks.

Park benches and picnic tables are available in all parks. Today, over 100 park benches are available and in need of replacement along English Bay and the Stanley Park seawall. These sites are easily identifiable.

Park Benches, Picnic Tables and Bicycle Racks can be dedicated for a 10-year term ($4,000). Plaques are a standard size and allow for 3 lines of text and 50 characters per line.

Donation Benefits

• A tax receipt will be issued to you for your gift
• Your name will be listed on our website
• Invitation to annual donor recognition event & park tours
