Stanley Park Cycling Plan

Project Description

The Vancouver Park Board is working to improve facilities for cycling in Stanley Park.  A consultant has been hired to create a functional cycling plan that is unobtrusive and sensitive to the existing qualities of the park.  The objective of the cycling plan is to identify and integrate cycling improvements in order to enhance the experience of the park for all users including pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, people with mobility constraints and motorists.

We are reviewing comments received through our public engagement, and analyzing all data collected. Recommendations to improve the cycling system will be developed using the information gathered. The Stanley Park Cycling Plan report will be complete in the spring of 2012.
