Project Description

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Vancouver Skate Park Coalition is undertaking a project to repair the Vancouver Skate Plaza. The scope of the work is budget dependent. Construction is planned for 2011 for the following:

• Resurface areas of the asphalt
• Repair a portion of the granite copings
• Repair the brick bank

December, 2010 - Survey (commenting closed December 17, 2010)

January 21, 2011 – Public Open House. Park Board staff hosted an open house at Roundhouse Community Centre about the upcoming repairs to the Downtown Skate Plaza. Approximately 20 park users and residents were in attendance. Information provided at the open house can be found in this PDF:
