Falaise Park

The redevelopment of Falaise Park was capital plan project which has recently been completed. The landscape architectural firm of Erik Lees Associates was asked to design a stream-like wetland with appropriate planting to address the wet terrain of the park due partly to an underground stream which in the past flowed into Still Creek and is now culverted. The Community participated in developing a pathway which runs north-south along the stream bed, wetland planting plan, seating and viewing areas. The stream bed is designed to drain in dry weather and carry water during the rainy seasons.
