Project Description

The Park Board will plant trees in Jericho Beach Park to benefit wildlife, and birds in particular, near the synthetic turf field east of Discovery Street.  The planting plan was developed with input from local residents and the Jericho Stewardship Group, and is based on the findings of the Jericho Field Wildlife Habitat Impact Assessment Report completed in March of 2011.  The Planting Concept Plan and Report are attached here for your reference:

The planting is scheduled for 2012 and will be accompanied by forest trail improvements and invasive plant species removal if sufficient funding is available.
