Nelson Park Site Plan

Redevelopment of Nelson Park was completed in 2007. Capital funds for this project were requested in the Capital Plan 2006-2008.

Two public meetings were held in June 2005, which resulted in two design concepts. The process then went to the Park Board's Planning and Environment Committee which was attended by a number of delegates who represented many interest groups from within the community. A third conceptual plan addressed the opinions brought forth in this meeting.
