Playground Replacement

Project Description

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation intends to replace the small playground located in Oak Park, along 59th Ave, during the summer of 2011.

The playground is being replaced due to the age and condition of the space.  A long planning process has involved community groups and frequent users of the playground.  A local landscape architect has designed the new playground to reflect the desires of the user groups.  The design will be on display in the Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre and on our website
