Day camp registration now on

June 25, 2010 (No. 31) - Vancouver Park Board’s 23 community centres offer fun, supervised day camps for preschoolers, children and youth 3- to 14-years-old this summer. Many offer theme weeks, excursions to local parks, pools and beaches, and out trips regional destinations such as water slides and science centres. All day campers aged 6 to 12 years learn about respect, responsibility, cooperation and peaceful conflict resolution as part of the Play it Fair program.

Day camp program fees, ages, themes and outings vary from centre to centre. Adapted programs are also available for children and youth 6- to 18-years-old who need more support to attend day camp.
