PORTION of Stanley Park Seawall to be closed for maintenance

November 19, 2010 (No. 55) –A section of the Stanley Park Seawall—between Ferguson Point and Prospect Point—will be closed for up to three weeks for slope stabilization and maintenance work.

The section will be closed weekdays beginning Tuesday, November 23, 2010, but will open weekends.

Annual inspections are done by geotechnical engineers who are recommending that this work be done for safety reasons.
