Lines of Life:
Expressing Wisdom through Art

This project involved seniors in a creative process of sharing life experiences expressed in words of wisdom and photographs of seniors taken by seniors.

Virtual Gallery Tour

From April 2006 to February 2007 workshops were held at 11 community centres citywide, and were taught by a writer, Kim Goodliffe and photographer, Vicki Moulder. Each session was two hours long for six weeks and were for seniors 60+ years. In workshops people learned the technical skills to use a digital camera and explored the relationships between images, text, and meaning. We invite you to take a look at some of the participants work:

Digital Camera Loans
If you are interested in starting your own digital camera program contact your local community centre. This project has a total of 20 digital cameras which can be borrowed by Community Centres for your program use. To book digital cameras please contact Eva Srobotnjak 604.257.6989.
