Thank you for supporting the tree sale over the past several years. Stay tuned for new ways the urban forest will be supported in an 2021 Urban Forest Strategy update.

Check out our variety of fruit, flowering and evergreen trees available for $10 each. This fall’s selection includes four varieties suited to large pots for smaller yards and balconies.

Buy your trees online starting at 9am on Monday, September 14, 2020 to be sure they're secured for delivery to your home starting Wednesday, September 23.

Weeping Larch

Lovely deciduous conifer that will take on many forms, mounding, arching, or weeping, depending on training. Grows to 10 feet.

Baby Blue Spruce

Compact pyramidal blue-needled evergreen. Holds its colour well all year. Drought tolerant. Full sun to part shade. Grows to 30 feet.

Pacific Silver Fir

Native to the Pacific Northwest. Needles are dark green above and silvery underneath. Tolerant of shade and drought.

Victoria Southern Magnolia

Broadleaf evergreen with beautiful dark shine foliage all year and large white flowers in summer. Sunny sheltered location. Grows to 30 feet.

DD Blanchard Southern Magnolia

Broadleaf evergreen with beautiful dark shine foliage all year and large white flowers in summer. Sunny sheltered location. Grows to 30 feet.

Hearts of Gold Eastern Redbud

Multi-stemmed tree with stunning pea-like rose-purple flowers and golden foliage. Full sun to part shade. Grows to 20 feet.

Golden gift Magnolia

Multi-stemmed tree covered in stunning fragrant gold cup-shaped flowers in the spring. Grows to 25 feet.

Rustica Rubra Saucer Magnolia

Slow-growing small tree with huge rosy-pink flowers with white tones inside. Full sun to part shade. Grows to 20 feet.

Cupid Cherry

A hardy hybrid cherry variety with large, red and surprsingly sweet cherries. Grows to 10 feet.

Bounty Plum

Small tree with white blossoms that produces red oblong fruit with yellow flesh in late summer. Full sun. Grows to 15 feet.

Prairie Star Persimmon

One of the earliest varieties to ripen. This self-fertile tree will produce large juicy persimmons. Full Sun. Grows to 12 feet.

Carpathian English Walnut

Partially self-fertile tree producing large walnuts in the fall. Best planted with another walnut variety. Full sun, Grows to 40 feet.

Manregion English Walnut

Small tree featuring large, bright orange-red leaves. Prefers moist soil and some shade. Great for containers. Grows to 2.5 metres.

Combination Apple

A combination of three to five varieties of apples are grafted on to one plant to create a unique and novel plant. Grows to 15 feet.

Red Leaf Japanese Maple

Small tree with delicate foliage with rich purple leaves in the spring becoming deeper in the summer. Grows to 20 feet.

Japanese Stewartia

Slow growing rtee with stunning bark and camelia-like flowers in the summer. Grows to 30 feet.

Saratoga Gingko

Pyramidal shaped low maintenance tree with green leaves that turn to golden-yellow in fall. Grows to 25 feet.

Container trees

Blue Bird Hibiscus (Rose of Sharon)

Noted for its large, trumpet-shaped, violet-blue flowers. Full sun. Grows to 8 feet.

Violette de Bordeaux Fig

Dwarf tree producing a small abundance of purple-black fruit with sweet, rich flavor. Grows to 8 feet.

Treasured Red Columnar Apple

Grows vertically with almost no branching! Produces large juicy scarlet apples. Great for containers. Full sun. Grows to 10 feet.

Orangeola cutleaf Japanese Maple

Small tree featuring large, bright orange-red leaves. Prefers moist soil and some shade. Great for containers. Grows to 8 feet.
