Fall-ing in love with VanDusen Botanical Garden’s Harvest Days
VanDusen Botanical Garden is excited to present Harvest Days, a celebration of the gorgeous fall season and autumn’s bounty. Fun for the whole family, Harvest Days will be open on Saturdays and Sundays in October, in addition to October 10 and October 21. Entry times are available between 10am and 3pm, with garden access available until 5pm.
Looking for a fall family photo opportunity? Look no further as the area surrounding the massive veggie garden and ever-popular VanDusen maze will be decorated with friendly scarecrows, hay bales, cornstalks and, of course, pumpkins. Visitors are also encouraged to wander the garden afterward to experience the fall sights. Some highlights include sugar maples, ginkgo trees, bald cypress, and the stunning Autumn Stroll, lined by deciduous trees chosen for their brilliant array of colours. The golden fall tones in the garden are indescribable and should not be missed.
A fall-inspired craft section will be set up for kids while live music plays to enjoy with delicious snacks from a selection of tasty food vendors like Bistrot Van, Popcorn in the Park, and Coffee Bike.
