Mountain views and brews at new Kitsilano Concession pop-up patio
The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the launch of a pop-up patio and alcohol service at Kitsilano Pool Concession. This new hospitality venture will be open every weekend until the end of September, offering guests a unique and vibrant experience with magnificent mountain views.
The pop-up patio, part of a summer pilot program, is offered in partnership with Batch External website, opens in new tab, known for their container pop-up patio at Plaza of Nations. Guests can enjoy live music featuring local musicians and beverage offerings that include beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
While alcohol service is only available on weekends from Friday to Sunday, noon to 10pm, the concession stand will be open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to dusk, weather permitting. From nostalgic favourites like mini fish and chips, to modern options like West Coast salmon fillet burgers, the menu reflects the Park Board’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, affordability, and support of local businesses.
