Tuesday, February 4
This week’s meeting began with Council’s presentation of the proclamation for Black History Month. This was followed by approval of the following items on consent:

Council also approved By-laws 1-12, and administrative motion, Adoption of Heather Lands Design Guidelines PDF file (42 MB).
Two member's motions were referred to future dates:
- Choose Canada, Tariffs and Buy Local Imperative, was referred to a Special Council meeting on February 25, 2025.
- Consultation with the Ministry of Housing and BC Housing at a Public Meeting was referred to the Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities meeting on February 26, 2025.
Wednesday, February 5
The Standing Committee on City Finance and Services began with the approval of the following items on consent:
- Contract Award for Construction Services for Granville Bridge South Main Approach and Ramps Rehabilitation – Phase 1 PDF file (412 KB)
- Contract Award for Construction Services for Killarney Park Track and Field Civil Works PDF file (135 KB)
This was followed by the Standing Committee’s approval of the following reports:

A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting during which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.
