City Council met this week to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council, and Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.

Tuesday, March 12

This week’s Council began with the approval of the following reports and referral reports on consent: 

Council then approved the following reports:

Council also approved By-laws 1 to 23, 25 to 32 (8.3 MB) (By-law 24 was withdrawn) and the following new business items:

  • Sanctions for Mayor Sim’s Violation of the Code of Conduct By-law in Creating a Discriminatory Workplace by Excluding Commissioner Christensen from Meeting – with amendments (See notes to editors)

On Tuesday evening, a Public Hearing was held where Council approved:

Wednesday, March 13

The Standing Committee on City Finance and Services approved the following reports and member’s motion:

A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting in which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on City Finance and Services, and By-law 1 (75 KB)
