City Council met this week to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council and Standing Committee on City Finance and Services.
Tuesday, May 20
This week’s meeting began with Council’s presentation of the proclamation for Guru Nanak Jahaz (Komagata Maru) Remembrance Day, on May 23. On this day, the City honours the lives lost and reflects on a painful chapter of discrimination and injustice in Vancouver and Canada’s history.
