City Council met this week to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council and Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities.
Tuesday, May 6
This week’s meeting began by Council expressing condolences to those impacted by the tragic incidents following the Lapu Lapu Day Festival on April 26.
Council business began with the approval of the following items on consent:

Wednesday, May 7

- Contract Award for Supply and Delivery of Traffic Marking Materials PDF file (141 KB)

After that, the Standing Committee approved the following reports and Council members’ motions:
- Update on the Youth Safety and Violence Prevention Strategy 2023-2026 and Building Safer Communities Program Sustainability Plan PDF file (4.5 MB)

A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting during which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities. After that, Council also approved the following unfinished businesses:
