City Council met this week to hear and discuss a variety of topics during Council and Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities.
Tuesday, February 25
This week’s meeting began with Council’s presentation of the proclamation for Ramadan. This was followed by approval of the following items on consent:

After that, Council approved the following items:

Wednesday, February 26
The Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities approved the following reports and Council members’ motions:

- Contract Award for Construction Services for Permanent Plazas PDF file (151 KB)
- Bringing Back The Block Party: Supporting Davie Village and Vancouver Pride Celebrations PDF file (129 KB)
- Temporarily Pausing Net-New Supportive Housing Investments in Vancouver to Prioritize Replacing Existing Stock and Promoting Regional Equity PDF file (120 KB)
Council member’s motion, Consultation with the Ministry of Housing and BC Housing at a Public Meeting PDF file (152 KB), was not approved.
A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting during which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities.
Thursday, February 27
