Tuesday, February 24
This week’s meeting began with a staff presentation on VanStat Update on Roads and Sidewalks PDF file (7.1 MB), and the approval of a related motion.
After that, Council approved the following items:

On Tuesday evening, a public hearing was held where Council approved the following items:
- CD-1 Rezoning: 2268-2294 West 3rd Avenue and 1902-1912 Vine Street PDF file (24 KB)
- CD-1 Amendment: CD-1 (566) East Fraser Lands Town Square Precinct: 3575 Sawmill Crescent and CD-1 (567) East Fraser Lands Waterfront Precinct: 8711 River District Crossing and 3522 East Kent Avenue South PDF file (30 KB)

Wednesday, February 25
The Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities began with the presentation of the proclamation for International Women’s Day. The Standing Committee also approved Contract Award for Provision of City Fleet Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure PDF file (180 KB) on consent.
After that, the Standing Committee approved the following items:
- Strengthening Public Safety Infrastructure PDF file (124 KB)
- Walking the Talk: Aligning City Staff’s and Council’s Remote Work Policy PDF file (118 KB) - with amendments
- Recommitting to $10 a Day Childcare PDF file (122 KB) - with amendments
Council member’s motion, ICE Out of the Beautiful Game and Vancouver’s World Cup PDF file (129 KB) was ruled out of order.
Council member’s motion, Meeting the Moment: FIFA Public Safety and Local Readiness Working Group PDF file (112 KB) was not approved.
A Council meeting was convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting during which Council approved the recommendations and actions of the preceding Standing Committee on Policy and Strategic Priorities .
