Park Board announces Tracey Lee Lorenson as new Integrity Commissioner

February 13 2026 –

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracey Lee Lorenson as its new Integrity Commissioner, effective February 1, 2026.

The Park Board passed a Code of Conduct (316 KB) policy on July 18, 2022, aligning its ethics regime with that of the City of Vancouver. Ms. Lorenson will act as the Integrity Commissioner for both the City of Vancouver and the Park Board.

Ms. Lorenson is a seasoned governance and leadership consultant with more than two decades of experience advising local governments across Canada. A trained lawyer, she has worked extensively on ethical governance, Council–CAO relations, and leadership development. She previously served as Executive Vice-President at E-Comm 911, gaining firsthand experience in oversight, governance, and intergovernmental collaboration.

“We're delighted to welcome Tracey Lee Lorenson to this crucial role,” said Park Board Chair Tom Digby. “Tracey’s expertise in the field of ethical governance and her commitment to transparency and accountability will prove invaluable as we continue to provide best-in-class service to users of our facilities and park spaces.”

"I’m honoured to serve as Integrity Commissioner for the Vancouver Park Board and I look forward to supporting the Board’s ongoing commitment to strong governance,” said Lorenson.

The Integrity Commissioner is appointed for a two-year term under Vancouver’s Code of Conduct By-law.
