Update on the Demolition of 500 Dunsmuir Street

The demolition of 500 Dunsmuir St. was completed yesterday evening. Please note: Richards Street, between W Georgia and Dunsmuir St., will remain closed to vehicles until later today, while we complete clean-up work. Businesses, bike lanes and sidewalks remain open.

The City thanks all coordinating organizations, including the contractor, environmental consultant, TransLink, Coast Mountain Bus Company, WorkSafeBC, FortisBC, and BC Hydro for their collaboration on this work. 

We also thank the public, residents and businesses for their patience and understanding during this complex operation.
