Parking options include parking lots and street parking—with or without parking meters. The City also has accessible parking spots for people with physical disabilities, and parking for commercial buses.
Parking meters
The City of Vancouver uses parking meters to encourage more frequent turnover of parking spaces, so business patrons and visitors can find parking on busy streets.
Check, then pay the meter
Meters are in effect from 9:00am to 10:00pm daily, including holidays.
Depending on the meter location, parking rates are $1.00 to $6.00 per hour. Most meters have a two-hour time limit.
Before paying the meter, check the meter for any restrictions, such as rush hour, special events, or construction.
