The VanMap Interface

Note: The new interface is only available for Internet Explorer on Windows.

The ActiveX Viewer version of VanMap has a new interface (the map and surrounding screen area) created to make it easier to use and to allow for ongoing expansion as VanMap adds new data layers, functions and applications. The highlights of the new interface are listed below for quick reference.

VanMap Logo - Selecting the VanMap logo will always take you to the VanMap home page.

Contact Us - Selecting Contact Us opens an email message addressed to VanMap.

Legend Options - From the Legend Options drop-down menu you can select: Hide Legend, Show Legend, Expand Layers, Collapse Layers

Address Search - The new Address Search is right up front allowing you to easily search for an address.

Toolbox - The new Toolbox contains all the tools you need to work in VanMap.

Help - Selecting the Help link will take you to the Help & Documentation page with links to get you started using VanMap.

About the Data - Selecting About the Data will take you to a listing of all the layers, layer group (if applicable), and visibility scale of the layer.

Applications - The applications drop-down menu shows custom applications created to use with VanMap.
