You can renew your licence online, by phone, by mail, and in person.
Pay for your renewal by credit card and print your new licence immediately.
Pay by cheque or money order issued to the City of Vancouver. Send your payment and renewal notice to the mailing address on this page.
Receive your new licence by mail:
Pay by cash, debit card, credit card, cheque, or money order. Make cheques and money orders payable to the City of Vancouver. Bring your payment and renewal notice to the location on this page.

Did you close your business licence account:
Contact the Licence Office about reinstating your licence.
A late payment penalty of 10% of the licence fee or $40.00, whichever is greater, applies to all payments received after December 31.
Not sure yet if you're working in the City of Vancouver next year? No problem.
You can renew your business licence after December 31 – once you have work lined up in the City – with no late payment penalty, but only if your business address is outside Vancouver.
Otherwise, if your business address is in Vancouver, then the late payment penalty fee applies even if you have not yet started working in the City for the year.
