Guidelines for speakers

Before the meeting

Your presentation is limited to five minutes. There may be numerous presentations, especially on controversial issues.

If you need audio-visual equipment for presentation, arrange for it ahead of time.

At the meeting

If there is more than one speaker for a specific topic, speakers will be heard in the order in which they were accepted.

After staff and consultants make their presentations, the Chair of the meeting invites speakers to make their presentations.

State your name, your organization (if applicable), your position on the recommendation (whether you're for or against the recommendation), and state your rationale.

You may be asked questions after your presentation.
