Cambie Bridge closed night of April 18 for filming
April 17 2024 –
On Thursday April 18, the Cambie Bridge will be closed overnight to accommodate filming of a major motion picture. Filming will take place between 7 pm to 6 am.
Traffic will be closed in both directions on the bridge during filming from 7th Avenue to Beatty Street and those travelling in the area can expect the following:
- Transit buses will be rerouted.
- Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists looking to travel to and from downtown should use alternate routes.
- The bridge will reopen to traffic at 6 am on Friday morning after filming.
Residents may notice noise from drones and lights from cranes, which will be used during filming.
The City strongly supports Vancouver’s thriving film and TV industry, which creates major economic and community benefits for local residents and businesses.
