Property tax reminders
- Homeowner grants: To apply for a homeowner grant, submit your application External website, opens in new tab directly to the province by July 3. Please note, after you receive confirmation of a successful grant submission, it may take 3 to 4 days to update your property tax account. - Property tax deferment: The Province’s Property Tax Deferment program is a low-interest provincial loan program designed to help qualified B.C. homeowners pay annual property taxes. - Empty Homes Tax declarations for 2023: July 3 is the last chance for property owners to submit a late empty homes tax declaration for the 2023 tax year. A $250 fine applies to late declarations, as per the Vacancy Tax By-law PDF file (319 KB).
