Navigating the City of Vancouver’s website
The City of Vancouver’s website is in the process of being renewed. You may have noticed that some of our pages are in a new template where others are in an old template. To help you in navigating our site, we have put together some useful links on our top-tier pages. If you are still unable to find what you are looking for, please use our search engine. Below you will also find links to the required plug-ins needed for some of our pages as well as some information on using RSS.
New template
To help you navigate our site using our new template, we have created a consistent set of links at the top of the page in the green banner (Residents, Business, Visitors, Jobs with the City, Services, Departments, City Projects, and Pay & Purchase Online). In the blue banner there are links to the City’s homepage and help and search pages. At the bottom of the page you will find a contact e-mail, links to our privacy policy and disclaimer and the date that the page was last updated.
On the left-hand side you will find the page’s menu structure and in some instances, a search box for those sets of pages.

Old template
Using our old template, you will find a link to help, search and the City’s homepage on the top right-hand side of the header of most of our pages. By using these links, you can navigate to our new top-tier pages and our search function.
