We're exploring transportation and public space improvements in the West End. Our focus is on the commercial streets - Davie, Robson, and Denman villages.
In 2024, we are considering changes to the sidewalk and road space along Davie Street, between Burrard and Jervis streets. These changes could help make Davie Village work better for businesses, residents and visitors.

West End Community Hub Renewal Plan
Following a robust community engagement process, the City and partners have created a renewal plan for the future of the West End Community Hub (WECH). The West End Community Hub site will include a renewed West End Community Centre and ice arena, King George Secondary School, Joe Fortes Library, relocation of Firehall No. 6, and childcare spaces.

Bute Greenway
In the second phase of public engagement, we shared a vision for Bute Greenway alongside a final design for the permanent Bute-Robson Plaza and associated work on adjacent blocks. During this phase, we also explored ways to advance other segments of the greenway and heard from the community at 4 pop-up events.
