We’re taking City Hall on the road! Now in our fourth year, Pop-Up City Hall is here to:
Over the last three years, we've been to 170 events connecting 31,251 people to civic activities.
Pop-Up City Hall will continue to be at your community events and neighbourhood gatherings.
We have a unique ability to adapt to the community's interests. We can creatively downsize for an intimate gathering or expand for a large festival or block party!

Our staff at Pop-Up City Hall range from 3-1-1 citizen service representatives to planners and engineers from all over our organization.
Depending on the event, you may also meet members from citizen advisory committees, Vancouver Volunteer Corps, and local business and community groups.
Our team works together to create fun and welcoming spaces for people in our city. Spot us on the road travelling around in our bubbly mobile City Hall van.

In December 2012, a group of 22 residents from the Mayor's Engaged City Task Force developed priority actions and recommendations that led to the creation of a mobile kiosk, now Pop-Up City Hall. Modelled after the City of Boston’s City Hall to Go program, Vancouver’s Pop-Up City Hall is the second program of its kind in North America.
We understand it can be difficult getting to City Hall whether it’s mobility issues, time constraints, or location. We want to meet you where you are and increase the convenience for you to connect with us.
With the dream to build an engaged city, our program continues to work together with the community to build a stronger culture of civic participation.
