Get ready for a big summer of events in Vancouver
Summer 2026 is here and it is a big, jam-packed schedule with everything from outdoor events, cultural celebrations, festivals and more for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in June and July, which will welcome thousands of soccer fans from around the world, a parade of annual events will continue across the city, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to experience all that Vancouver has to offer.
“This summer, Vancouver will be buzzing with incredible events and experiences in every corner of our city,” said Mayor Ken Sim. “Whether you’re enjoying live music, exploring local festivals, attending free community events, or spending time at the free FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’re proud to support a vibrant summer season that showcases the best of Vancouver.”
“The lineup of events this summer will bring people together across Vancouver and showcases the best of our city,” said Lisa Parker, Director of Public Space and Street Use at the City of Vancouver. “We’re grateful to the many organizers, partners and volunteers whose efforts are helping us host events before, during and after the World Cup, with lasting impact. Together, we’re creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.”
Public safety continues to be our top priority. The City is working closely with partners, including the Vancouver Police Department and Vancouver Fire Rescue Services to deliver safe and enjoyable experiences for everyone.
