Lead the ride: Responsibilities of an indoor cycle instructor

Bring energy, music, and motivation to every class. Lead safe and engaging cycling drop-in classes and registered seasonal programs using:
- Structured ride formats
- Music
- Cadence cues
- Motivational coaching
Minimum requirements for an indoor cycling instructor
- Recognized group fitness certification
- Emergency first aid with CPR
- Indoor cycling specialty certification (considered an asset)
Accepted certifications to be an indoor cycle instructor

Certifications may include:

- Keiser Indoor Cycling Certification

Personal trainer
Transform fitness journeys as a personal trainer

Work with clients in 1-on-1, semi private, and small group sessions to:
- Develop and instruct personalized fitness programs
- Provide guidance on activity readiness and exercise safety
- Support individuals as they progress toward their health and wellness goal
Trainers may also deliver workshops and seasonal programs to expand community access to specialized training.

Minimum requirements for a personal trainer
- Recognized personal trainer certification
- Emergency first aid with CPR
- Additional specialty certifications considered an asset

Be the heart of our fitness centre as a fitness centre worker

Make sure the fitness centre runs smoothly while providing friendly, professional service to community members:
- Maintaining and monitoring equipment areas

- Offering basic exercise guidance and member orientations
