Capital Project Grants

The City wants to fund capital projects that preserve or increase the capacity of facilities used to address the needs of vulnerable communities in Vancouver.

We offer two capital funding streams:

  1. Downtown Eastside (DTES) Capital Grants only fund capital projects within the DTES that help implement actions from the DTES Plan.
  2. Social Policy Capital Grants fund small capital projects anywhere in Vancouver.

Downtown Eastside (DTES) Capital Grants

Does your organization operate in the DTES and need funding to improve its equipment, premises, or facilities in order to help the City implement quick-start projects from the DTES Plan?

These matching grants fund projects that can help DTES residents – vulnerable residents, in particular – to achieve better opportunities and a better quality of life.
