Childcare Enhancement Grant program

Social Policy is continuing with its large-scale review of the City’s childcare-related policy framework, including grant programs such as the Childcare Enhancement Grant.

As a result, we won't be issuing a general call for Childcare Enhancement Grant applications in 2017.

2016 grant recipients

We'll send you instructions on how to apply for 2017 with a simplified application. The eligibility criteria PDF file (150 KB) are the same.

Recently-launched or long-standing childcare programs

Did you launch a new licensed childcare program in the last 12 months (after the 2016 grant deadline)? Or do you have a longer-standing childcare program that you believe may qualify for an enhancement grant?

Review the eligibility criteria PDF file (150 KB) and if you think you may qualify, contact Eric Kowalski, social planner, at eric.kowalski@vancouver.ca or 604-871-6780.
