Voting in the election

Voters living in Vancouver

You can register to vote in advance with Elections BC by August 18, 2026, if you are 18 years or older. Elections BC will also have details on how to:

  • Update your voter information, such as your residential or mailing address
  • Register for the List of Future Voters if you are 16 or 17 years old

Non-resident property electors

If you own property in Vancouver but live in another municipality, you may still be eligible to vote in the 2026 Vancouver Election.
