Children and youth can take part in the 2026 Vancouver Election through 2 programs: Kids Vote and Student Vote.

Kids can vote at more locations and on more days than ever before.

When: October 3 to 17
Where: Any VPL branch with a Children's Collection (all branches except Carnegie)

Kids Vote gives children in preschool to Grade 3 a fun, hands-on way to try voting, share their opinions, and learn how elections work.

We're partnering with Vancouver Public Library (VPL) to host Kids Vote. Canucks Autism Network reviewed the ballot and materials for accessibility.

Kids Vote results will be posted on this page on October 17 after 8pm.

Student Vote is a parallel election for students in Grades 4 to 12, run by CIVIX Canada .

Students at more than 60 Vancouver schools will take part this year.
