Expectations of respectful conduct

The City of Vancouver is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for everyone. To maintain this, compliance with relevant City policies and procedures is required.

Certain behaviour is unacceptable, including, but not limited to:

• Refusal to follow policies, procedures, or guidelines
• Obstruction of staff duties
• Verbal or written aggression or insults, such as yelling, swearing, or name calling
• Physical aggression or violence, including threats and damage or destruction of City property
• Bullying and harassment, including sexual harassment
